Trust the professionals when you’re on set

Sometimes the best way to help you relax is to know that you’re in capable hands. That’s one thing we can certainly promise at Chique! Our team of experts will help you feel at ease as they know exactly how to capture your best angles and create stunning images. You can rest assured you’re in good hands from the moment you arrive, to being on set and when your experience comes to an end. Knowing our team are here to support you every step of the way should help settle those pre-shoot nerves. Also remember that you won’t be forced into anything you don’t want to do or feel uncomfortable with. Our team will simply guide and advise you to help you achieve your looks. At any point throughout your shoot, if you have any questions, just ask us! We want your experience to be as amazing as possible so will do everything we can to help you feel at ease.

Practise makes perfect when it comes to posing

If you’re feeling a bit unsure about how to be on set when it comes to posing ahead of your shoot, why not take the time to practise? In doing so, you’re likely to feel more confident and prepared and will have a clearer idea about what you’d like to try during your shoot and what poses you’d like to capture, which is likely to put you at ease. If you’re after some inspiration, have a look on our social media channels to get a feel of the type of shots we do or you could even spend some time in front of the mirror to get a look and feel for the type of images and poses you like. You can also feel confident that our team will be on hand to guide you when it comes to posing as we know exactly what looks best on camera – we are the photography experts after all!

Remember it’s fine to make mistakes, no one is perfect

For some people posing in front of a camera comes naturally, but for others it takes a bit of time and guiding to get into the swing of things – either is absolutely fine! Something to remember before your shoot and during is that it’s okay to make mistakes and to not quite get the perfect shot the first time. Try not to worry or focus too much on getting things exactly ‘perfect’ – sometimes it’s the shots that aren’t so perfect that look the best. Leave creating the stunning images to us and instead focus on enjoying yourself, feeling glamourous and experiencing something new.
